Close up Video
Theme Piece

Objective: Using Close-ups…shoot a short video theme piece utilizing: 
the Sony PD-150 and edited on Adobe Premiere 6 

 
· Story must utilize music that is chosen, from the bucket at random, in class. 
· Each group will produce a video, utilizing the length of music available from our package, 

anywhere from 1:50 to 2:30.
· Close ups and extreme close-ups only!
· You are allowed only ONE medium or wide shot. ONE! Only ONE!
· Each shot must be no more than 3 seconds in length. 
· You should have at least 30-40 shots.
· Be creative here! Show me some great shots!
 
You must have a script “completed and approved” before you begin production.
 
Remember:
· You must fade up from black at the beginning and fade to black at the end.
· You must have color bars (no tone) with a slate 
· Slate should include:
o Group members names,
o Date of project deadline
o Total Length.
o Period #

You will be graded as a group on:

• Your following the assignment criteria ( all close-ups)
• Demonstrating the assignment criteria
• utilizing EOC at all times.
• Does it make sense?
• edited cleanly?,
• edited to beat of music?)
• Utilization of Basic Camera techniques and Composition Principles
• Be safe
• Be Appropriate
