Close up Video
Theme Piece

Objective: Using 98% Close-ups…shoot a short video theme piece utilizing: 
the Sony cameras and edited on Adobe Premiere

 
· Story MUST utilize instrumental music of your choice….and you MUST edit to the beat!...
· Minimum length for this video is 2:30 seconds.
· Close ups and extreme close-ups only!
· You are allowed only TWO medium or wide shots. 2 only!
· Each shot must be 2-4 seconds in length, OR LESS. 
· You should have at least 30-40 shots.
· Be creative here! Show me great, artistic shots!
 
You must have a script and typed treatment “completed and approved” before you begin production.
 
Remember:
· You must fade up from black at the beginning and fade to black at the end.
· You must have 10 seconds of color bars (no tone) with a 5 second slate then 5 seconds of black before you video begins. 
· Slate should include:
o Group members names,
o Date of project deadline
o Total Length.
o Period #

You will be graded as a group on:

• Your following the assignment criteria ( all close-ups)
• Demonstrating the assignment criteria
• utilizing EOC at all times.
• Does it make sense?
• edited cleanly?,
• edited to beat of music?)
• Utilization of Basic Camera techniques and Composition Principles
• Be safe
• Be Appropriate
